# Scottish Technology Club Bulletin — Week 18, 2025

First, big thanks to [CityJS](https://cityjsconf.org/) for their ticket giveaway at
our JavaScript meetups. Ricardo was the winner of the ticket raffle, and enjoyed
attending CityJS London at the weekend. One of the benefits of organising a community
like Scottish Technology Club is that we can attract sponsors and giveaways - a
win-win for all involved. If you are planning on attending any international conferences
(e.g. CityJS Athens in May) then give me a shout, I can try and intro Scotland-based folks
for a casual hang out!

It's another busy week for the Scottish tech community: kicking off with Cam Blackwood hosting
a ["Supabase launch week" event](https://lu.ma/bpgeps7t?tk=Ur4yow) in Codebase on Monday evening.
Following that we have Event-driven Software, GlasgowPHP, Dundee Data, Ladies of Code, Azure UG, TechMeetup Glasgow, and more.
As always, check the [What's On Page](https://www.scottishtechnology.club/whats-on) for a three week view.

If you live in the Borders check out [Borders Tech Connect](https://borderstechconnect.substack.com/) on Substack for
info on this new initiative. Also take a look at [Aberdeen Tech Events](https://aberdeentechevents.co.uk/) for more local info there!

If you are seeking to support entrepreneurs or startups in Scotland then take a look at [The Ecosystem Fund](https://inspirent.co.uk/the-ecosystem-fund/).
I have a private channel for event organisers on our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/bgHpBkq24p) too - give me a shout to be included!
