# Scottish Technology Club Bulletin — Week 30, 2025

It's the EdinburghJS JavaScript social this week! I'll be hosting the event starting at [7pm on Tuesday 22nd at The Newsroom](https://www.meetup.com/edinburghjs/events/308532124/). All are welcome, from first-timers to regular attendees. After our social we'll be taking a summer break, then we'll be back at [TravelPerk](https://www.travelperk.com/careers/?gh_src=49bab4711us) in September for more talks. Other events this week include: TravelTech, Rust and Friends, and Makers Gonna Make Dundee edition. I also started tracking [ProductTank Glasgow](https://www.meetup.com/producttank-glasgow/events/309859139/), so you'll see their events in the bulletins from now on.

For meetup organisers (or potential organisers!), Gavin messaged a reminder that [Glasgow Tech Ecosystem Meetup Fund](https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/article/4731/Tech-Ecosystem-Meetup-Subsidy) exists to help tech meetups within the city. It's a great helping hand to get a meetup up and running, or support expanding the scope and reach of the meetup. If you want any advice about running a meetup then give me a shout. I have a small group of organisers in our Discord server that can help!
