# Scottish Technology Club Bulletin — Week 6, 2025

It seems like a lot of tech events are happening over in Glasgow this week. Remember to check out our [What's On](https://www.scottishtechnology.club/whats-on) page for a three week view of upcoming meetups, webinars and conferences.

TravelPerk have kindly agreed to support the EdinburghJS meetup with a venue, so our next event will be in the middle of February at their office. Ljupche will be talking about building a photo app on the AT Protocol (which Bluesky runs on). I'll post details in the [EdinburghJS meetup group](https://www.meetup.com/edinburghjs/) soon.

The Data Lab community announced their themes for the year. I'm going to try and coordinate some of the JS meetups with these themes, and will encourage other meetups to do the same. I'd also be keen to see blog posts and videos from the community on these topics. They are:

- February: Skills & Talent
- March: Ethics
- April: Life Sciences
- May: Navigating Data & AI
- June: Geospatial Data
- July: Sustainability
- August: Housing
- September: Financial Sector
- October: Health
- November: Data Visualisation

If you want to speak at a future meetup then please do [fill out the speakers form](https://tally.so/r/3x46Vk). I'm mostly able to support JavaScript speakers, but am up for running a few one-off events during the year on other topics. So whatever your skillset, do get in touch!
