# Scottish Technology Club Bulletin — Week 16, 2026

Another quieter week for tech events in Scotland - but looking a little further into the future I have posted the May GlasgowJS Meetup on [Zombie Service Workers](https://luma.com/glasgowjs-may-2026) and EdinburghJS in June on [Writing an emulator in JavaScript?](https://luma.com/edinburghjs-june-2026) (rescheduled). I'll be announcing the May EdinburghJS event soon too.

In our [Discord Server](https://discord.gg/bgHpBkq24p) there is occasionally chat about how to go about organising tech events. To help out organisers I have started listing venues that have recently hosted a meetup by city. This could be a useful starting point to find a space, but also to see which companies are supporting the community.
