We’re into the fourth week of the year, and this week is getting busy! Most of the listings this week are in Edinburgh (take a look at EdinburghJS on Tues, and NoCode Scotland on Wed), but there is the first Dundee meetup of Cyber Scotland Connect on Thursday.

Quick shout out for people in the community writing and recording in the last week: Glitch named Creating with Data as the winner in their “Made you Learn” category for 2023. Rory has been putting up code examples on glitch, and posting videos on his website. Stephen Herd has posted a video discussing balancing hobbies vs learning to code. Daniel Roe has been livestreaming coding on Twitch and YouTube. We’ve also posted the first of the talks from last week’s GlasgowJS on our YouTube, so take a look at James Stewart’s “Make a product look bad and get paid for it”.
