It’s a quieter week across Scotland for events - I guess a lot of folks are starting their summer holiday! Remember you can look ahead to the next three weeks of events on the website (including both GlasgowJS and EdinburghJS summer socials!). If you want to catch up on previous meetups then you can find livestreams from several community groups online. In the last week:

• Tech Meetup Glasgow streamed their meetup on Game James and CyberSecurity
• Python Glasgow streamed their meetup on Making Archaeology More Powerful, One Script at a Time

This week I updated the website topics page to add more topics and to backdate livestream listings for previous JavaScript meetups. We’ve livestreamed most JS meetups since early 2022, and have some pre-Covid recordings too. Check out the full list! It’s been an incredible effort from Allan Lloyds of LiveToAir to capture and archive these for the community.

My ask from the community this week is: send me links to YouTube channels for other Scottish meetups or vloggers.

I want to create a community archive so people can learn about new topics and connect with likeminded local developers.
