Bulletin 2024 Week 14
Happy Easter folks - I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. It’s a fairly quiet week for meetups this week, but keep an eye out for the next couple of JavaScript events in April. I’ve listed both the events and livestreams for EdinburghJS and GlasgowJS on the Scottish Technology Club network page. I’m now inviting folks who have a side-project, startup or tool that they have built to get in touch for our May events as we’ll be running a community showcase evening.
A few folks have produced videos and websites in the last week or so: Dale Hornidge launched his portfolio website which includes examples of work and a blog. Daniel Roe streamed his work, the Data Lab streamed Data & AI Driven Entrepreneurship, and Ljupche Vasilev posted What happens when you give access to an app?.
Over in our Discord there have been a couple of jobs posted, some requests for app testers and discussions about learning JS frameworks and using React Native. Tadas Labudis and I have launched a dev tools survey to help us understand the market. Please do fill it out if you have a moment. Hop on over to the server to join in future discussions!
