I’ve just hit publish on the GlasgowJS event on November 11th, where we will be hearing from Ryan Biwer on building a local first web app with SQLite. Ryan applied via the Launchpad programme that aims to help people deliver tech talks with mentoring sessions and feedback. It’s sure to be an interesting talk, so RSVP now to secure your spot! The meetup is supported by CGI and Glasgow City Council and will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Paul got in touch with a new group launch: GenAI Glasgow, hoping to share learning and discussions around generative AI - the first meetup is on Tues 18th November.

Allan has launched Edinburgh Resiliency & Emergency Preparedness Meetup with discussion topics including: climate resiliency, general storm & disaster preparedness, high availability network operations, LoRaWAN networks, emergency first-aid medicine, off-grid living and family emergency planning. Some interesting tech in there - the first meetup online on Nov 20th!
